Het Smaaksalon

Outside our restaurant/hotel Vous Lé Vous in Wimmertingen, we run another brasserie in the center of Hasselt, namely Het Smaaksalon. Located along the tourist office and in one of the most beautiful buildings of Hasselt. This brasserie is open daily from 9 am to 5 pm (kitchen closes at 4:30 pm). Our closing days are Sunday and Monday. Ideal after a day of shopping in Hasselt to come and enjoy a nice glass of genever, Limburg wine, a regional beer or a Maeskoffie the Limburg coffee with its own distillery in Hasselt. On the culinary front you can come and enjoy a regional lunch or a quick bite, pastas, salads, Hasseltse hoekjes.... pancakes, Brussels Waffle, Chocolate Muleux.....

With Puur Limburg as our supplier, we are convinced that we can share the best products of Limburg with you. By the way, there are more homegrown products than you might suspect. Think for example of Limburg asparagus, a delicacy with world fame. Or the apples and pears from Haspengouw and the herb salt from the Maasland region. Beers from Herckenrode Abbey or Achelse blonde. In the Smaaksalon, we prefer to make room for all the goodies from our own region, which also provides a wide choice. That is why you will find smooth dishes with tender beef from Borgloon, fresh watercress from Tongeren and juicy fruit from Sint-Truiden.

For parties and gatherings from 50pers we also open our doors in the evening.
